Kate Middleton’s annual special, Royal Carols: Together at Christmas, is incoming! The special—which was filmed on December 5—drops on Christmas Eve (today!) in England, and will feature the Princess of Wales hosting a service with music and readings. And…maybe a surprise piano duet with Princess Charlotte?
Kate went ahead and dropped this teaser, which features her hand playing piano before being joined by the hand of a child.
Comments on the post are full of speculation, including “Catherine and Charlotte?” and “It’s Charlotte’s bracelet.”
In other words, it definitely looks like Princess Charlotte is making her musical debut and joining her mom for a special duet!
The palace released a statement about the concert, saying the theme is “love in all its forms.” Here’s the official statement:
“Combining traditional and modern elements to encompass people of all faiths and none, the service will see the world-renowned Westminster Abbey choir sing some of the nation’s most beloved carols, alongside musical performances and readings by guests including Hannah Waddingham, Dan Smith, Kate Winslet and Chiwetel Ejiofor,” they said. “The Service will also showcase stories of some of the incredible guests in the congregation, who are leading by example and helping to create a more connected society. This year, the Service will bring people together to celebrate love in all its forms — whether it’s love within families, through friendships, across communities or even through powerful moments of connection with strangers.
