Ever since the record-breaking box office success of Dhurandhar, Akshaye Khanna has become the talk of the town. Amid all the love the actor is getting for his performance in Dhurandhar, he has also found himself in a controversy.
Recently, producer Kumar Mangat claimed that Akshaye Khanna left Drishyam 3 over a high fee demand and a suggestion to wear a wig.
He also claimed that Akshaye stated Dhurandhar worked because of him.
Akshaye Khanna Left Drishyam 3 A Day Before Dhurandhar Release
Now, another interview of the producer is doing the rounds of the internet where he has stated that Akshaye left the movie a day before Dhurandhar’s release.
He told TOI, “I have no idea why Akshaye took that step. He left Drishyam 3 a day before Dhurandhar’s release on December 4. In the trials itself, he had a fair idea that Dhurandhar would do well. He didn’t quit Drishyam 3 over money issues because he had well predicted and considered Dhurandhar’s success while demanding his fees for Drishyam 3, and that was agreed upon.”
Reacting to the new revelation, one social media user wrote, “So Akshaye Khanna had quit Drishyam one day before Dhurandhar release but people are busy maligning him. The way these PR machinery operates is dirty.”
Another user reacted, “So all this PR against him seems to be to bring him down.”
A third user commented, “Akshaye Khanna walked out right before Dhurandhar’s massive success, and now this sudden “unprofessional” tag feels like pure sour grapes. Bollywood PR games at their finest.”
A fourth user wrote, “Then Kumar Mangat says dhurandhar success is over his head, 21cr hike, wanted wig as chamchas said so are all lies…. I knew it is negative pr to divert the limelight he earned…. #AkshayeKhanna should sue them for spreading lies”.
