Hungry for something new? St. Cloud restaurants that opened in 2025
This year’s new eateries cover Asian cuisine, coffee, Tex-Mex and more.

- Bars, restaurants and other local businesses are hosting live music, family events, comedy and other activities.
As the new year approaches, St. Cloud-area residents have many ways to celebrate on New Year’s Eve.
St. Cloud’s bars, bowling alleys, concert venues and other local spots are hosting a mix of events to ring in the New Year.
Country Lights Festival
Sartell’s Country Lights Festival, an outdoor walkthrough festive light display with about 500,000 lights around Lake Francis, will wrap up its season with a 7 p.m. fireworks show on New Year’s Eve. It will also offer hot chocolate from 5 to 7 p.m.
The Hideaway Bar
The Hideaway Bar in Rockville will host a New Year’s Eve party starting at 4 p.m. Dec. 31. Dinner will be served from 4 to 7 p.m., followed by live music from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Great River Bowl
Sartell’s Great River Bowl & Partners Pub is hosting its “Xtreme Bowling Bash” event for New Year’s Eve. It includes a family bowling session from 6 to 8:30 p.m. and late night bowling from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. The event includes unlimited bowling, shoe rental, pizza, games and prizes. The lanes fill up quickly, and reservations can be made online.
Paramount shows
Those looking to celebrate the new year with music can attend the Paramount Center for the Arts’ Deuces Wild Dueling Pianos. Dave Eichholz and Ted Manderfeld will play dueling piano tunes and the audience is invited to clap and sing along. The Paramount is hosting a 7 p.m. family-friendly show and a 10 p.m. show recommended for 16 years and older on Dec. 31, and tickets can be purchased online.
Legends Bar & Grill
Legends Bar & Grill is hosting a late-night New Year’s Eve event at 9 p.m. Dec. 31 until 1 a.m. The event will feature a dance floor and Minneapolis-based cover band Revved UP!, playing 1990s and today’s radio hits.
Bad Habit Brewing
Those looking for an earlier New Year’s celebration can visit Bad Habit Brewing Company in St. Joseph, which is hosting a New Year’s event 4 to 10 p.m. and will ring in the new year early at 10 p.m. The brewery will also be offering mimosa flights that day.
Skating events
St. Cloud’s Skatin’ Place is hosting an afternoon skate from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and an evening skate running from 4 to 8 p.m. to ring in the new year. The two events also include balloon drops at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. with the chance to win prizes.
The Red Carpet
The Red Carpet in downtown St. Cloud is offering multiple New Year’s Eve events. Comedy fans can attend comedian Adrian Washington’s show at 8 p.m. Dec. 31 and a New Wave New Year’s Eve event featuring new wave hits from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Great River Children’s Museum
Children can celebrate the new year too at the Great River Children’s Museum’s Noon Year’s Eve celebration. The event features crafts, prizes, information on how other continents celebrate the new year and other activities leading up to its version of a ball drop at noon. No registration is required for the event.
The Pickled Loon
The Pickled Loon’s New Year’s Eve celebration starts at 4 p.m. Dec. 31 with a happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m. and its full food and drink menu until 10 p.m. The downtown bar will also host a DJ starting at 10 p.m., as well as free glow sticks and a free champagne toast.
