Taking the next step in their relationship, Amal and George Clooney have officially bid farewell to the United States of America. According to The Guardian, the power couple and their children, twins Alexander and Ella, have been granted French citizenship.

Earlier this month, Clooney expressed his love for the country, praising how the strict laws help keep their children safe. He told Rtl radio (via Rtl Today), “I love the French culture, your language, even if I’m still bad at it after 400 days of courses.”
