Holidays on the Plaza: Last day for the 2025-2026 seasonal event, ice-skating, the Tinsel Trail (a fund-raiser for Tuscaloosa One Place) in Government Plaza, downtown Tuscaloosa. Skating will be open 10 a.m.-9 p.m., and passes are $10, for this final day of the season. The admission price includes rental skates. The outdoor ice-skating rink is set up adjacent to the downtown Tuscaloosa parking deck, with the 200-plus decorated tree Tinsel Trail, a fund-raiser for Tuscaloosa One Place, covering most of the rest of the five-acre park.
