Get excited.

It’s safe to say that 2025 was a pretty huge year for Parker McCollum. Beyond the fact that he dropped his self-titled, fifth studio album back in June to commercial and critical success, the Texas native also scored huge career milestones, performing at President Donald Trump’s inaugural ball in January and co-hosting Better Together Texas and raising over $8.5 million for flood relief with Miranda Lambert in August.

Originally, many thought McCollum was setting his eyes on 2026 in the form of a short but sweet, 14-show tour spanning from January to March, as announced along with fellow Texan and red dirt superstar, Randy Rogers.

With that being said, however, the “Stoned” singer decided to plot out his entire year of 2026 early with the announcement of a full, 44-show tour stretching from January to September, featuring a revolving door of special guests throughout, including the likes of Jake Worthington, Max McNown, Laci Kaye Booth, Gary Allan, Josh Abbott Band and many more.

As time passes, it seems as if 2026 is looking to be McCollum’s biggest (and busiest) year to date from multiple different aspects.

If you recall, back on Christmas, the 33-year-old singer/songwriter announced that he and his wife, Hallie Ray, are expecting their second child, a boy, who’s expected this summer.

“McCollum party of 4 next Christmas!!!! another BOY joining us summer 2026!!! Merry Christmas, everyone! Thank you, Jesus! HBD!!”

Though it’s hard to top the announcement of your second child, McCollum once again sent fans into a frenzy yesterday afternoon with his latest Instagram post. Recapping his sold-out New Year’s Eve show at Dickie’s Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, he would upload multiple images from the concert. However, it was his caption that turned heads.

In addition to telling fans how excited he was for his extremely busy 2026, he would note that new music is coming “very very soon.”

“Rang in the new year with a Sold Out show at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, TX! Ready to kick ass in 2026! New year new level! P.s. and new music coming very very soon”

Obviously, it’s hard to tell what exactly McCollum means by “new music.” Given that he just released his self-titled album back in June and typically follows a two-year album-release schedule, I wouldn’t expect a full-length project from McCollum early in the year (or any time this year).

With that being said, the “Hell of a Year” singer could be hinting towards the official release of “Jet Plane,” a piano-ballad he wrote in August of 2024 and recently teased back in November, which had many fans begging for studio version.

Regardless, it looks like we’ll just have to wait and see what McCollum has in store for an already jam-packed 2026 ahead of him. However, I’m sure fans won’t be too upset to receive even more new music after the success of his self-titled album last year.
