South Arcade release new song ‘DEADMEAT’

As of this writing, the Vancouver Canucks are dead last in the NHL, meaning that our spring schedules are going to be a lot more open than we’d hoped. Oh well, never mind — at least there are a ton of concerts coming to the West Coast in 2026.

The most anticipated concerts for 2026 include the makers of some of 2025’s best albums like Wednesday (pictured above), the local indie darlings making their mark in the current rock renaissance, and a pop star who surely wants to learn all about the city’s local food scene.

“I saw them do a pre-album release show at Green Auto in Vancouver,” Said the Whale’s Tyler Bancroft recently told Exclaim! “I walked in the room, experienced that whole set, and was just like, ‘The kids are alright.’ I felt so optimistic.” Come find what the fuss is all about at this hometown show in support of Station on the Hill, one of the Canadian albums you might have missed in 2025.

Ghost
Rogers Arena, February 14

Spooky, silly and maximalist, Ghost’s music was absolutely made for arenas, so their tour in support of Skeletá is bound to be a blast.

Chan Marshall just might be The Greatest, and the songwriter is celebrating the 20th anniversary of her seminal 2005 album with a tour alongside an EP called Redux.

As the frontman of the National, Matt Berninger has always had a wild, freewheeling stage presence that belies the refined elegance of the band’s music. Now, all restraints are off as he goes about promoting his latest solo album, Get Sunk.

Sadly, I don’t think she’s ordained to marry anyone here in Canada — but, having delayed her 2025 Vancouver show due to illness, she’s finally set to make it up this March.

Having made one of 2025’s best albums with EUSEXUA, FKA twigs is basking in the Afterglow by taking her latest music on the road. Considering her latest material, this is bound to be a dance party.

C’mon Vancouver, surely we can do better than giving PinkPantheress a Farmer’s Wrap? A Japadog? The Blair Stanley from Budgie’s Burritos? A dozen donuts from Duffin’s?

Wednesday
Vogue Theatre, April 24

April 24 is actually a Friday, which sadly isn’t a Wednesday. On the bright side, fans can fully cut loose while rocking out to the band’s hard-hitting alt-country songs, secure in the knowledge that the next day is a Saturday.

Everyone thought Rush were done after Neil Peart’s death in 2020, but beloved prog trio are back with a new drummer to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their formation.
