More often referred to by its shorthand, OR3, the forthcoming release has been the topic on all her fans’ tongues since the GUTS Tour wrapped back in July, when she performed at Osheaga Festival in a red T-shirt bedazzled with the number 3. Since then, she has alluded to a busy year ahead, dropped Easter eggs on her Instagram, and even worn vintage looks that felt like hints themselves.
Her latest tease—a not-so-subtle reference—arrived yesterday as part of her New Year’s Eve photo dump, where she was seen ushering in 2026 with party hats and sparkly dresses. Sandwiched between beach shots and fireworks, a golf cart reading “The Album” made its way into the swipe-through. Plus, she even wore a red two-piece from Frankies Bikinis—the rumored color of OR3.
When she wasn’t dropping hints at new music, Rodrigo was celebrating the occasion with her longtime friends Madison Hu and Iris Apatow, along with Apatow’s boyfriend, White Lotus’s Sam Nivola. In the Instagram post, Rodrigo’s first since the rumors of her breakup with actor Louis Partridge, the star danced in a 1920s-meets-Y2K flapper dress by Blumarine.
Draped from gunmetal-gray silk and designed with spaghetti straps and a side slit, the early 2000s piece was adorned with oversize sequins that caught the light and reflected shades of silver. She sourced the sparkly number from Sweet Disorder Vintage, a go-to spot for celebrities that has been favored by the likes of Ariana Grande and Zendaya, and paired it with a flapper-appropriate “HNY” feather crown.
