Emma Stone reveals how far she went for her favourite reality show
Emma Stone has shed some light on her obsession with The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, a Bravo reality series.
In a latest conversation with W Magazine, published on January 6, the 37-year-old actress confessed that, out of all the shows, RHOSLC is her favourite TV series.
Stone revealed that she once went the extra mile for the show, waiting outside a courthouse to witness one of its key moments.
“I am really invested. When Jen Shah was getting sentenced in New York, my brother and I waited outside for two hours in the freezing cold just for a chance to see her,” she said.
The Oscar-winning actress added, “But I live in New York. We walked over there. Her getting arrested on camera was wild.”
For those unversed, Shah was sentenced on January 6, 2023, to 6.5 years in prison for running a nationwide telemarketing fraud scheme that targeted elderly and vulnerable victims.
Moreover, the La La Land star also praised the show’s fashion and drama, particularly mentioning Bronwyn Newport.
“You’ve never seen anyone dress like this in real life. It’s phenomenal. Everything is sort of a costume. I love it,” she gushed.
Elsewhere in the wide-ranging conversation, Stone also shut down rumours of playing Miss Piggy in her upcoming movie, which she is co-producing with Jennfier Lawrence.
“First of all, that is the biggest insult to Miss Piggy I’ve ever heard, and I will not have her name dragged through the mud like that. Why would I play a literal star? She’s the greatest,” Stone clarified.
