Put your pinky finger to the moon! The wait is finally over.
Bruno Mars’ long-awaited fourth album is on the way, with new music coming in just days. On Wednesday, the crooner announced on social media that his new album “The Romantic” will be dropping on Feb. 27, and a new song is expected on Jan. 9.
The “Uptown Funk” singer’s last solo album was 2016’s “24K Magic.” In 2021, he released the album “An Evening with Silk Sonic” as one-half of the duo Silk Sonic, with artist Anderson .Paak.

“The new project comes in the wake of Mars’ continued chart success, with recent singles including the GRAMMY award-winning ‘Die With A Smile’ with Lady Gaga, which became the fastest song in Spotify history to reach 1 billion streams and topped the Billboard Global 200 Chart for a record-tying 18 weeks, as well as the pervasive ‘APT.’ with ROSÉ—the latter of which was just crowned the most globally streamed song of 2025 by Apple Music, and scored 19 weeks at number one on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Chart and 12 weeks at number one on the Billboard Global 200 Chart,” a media release explained. “Beyond its massive global chart achievements, ‘APT.’ also won song of the year at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, and earned three nominations at this year’s 68th Annual GRAMMY Awards for song of the year, record of the year, and best pop duo/group performance.”
Less than 24 hours later, Mars revealed he’s hitting the road and going on tour as well. He announced “The Romantic” Tour, which will feature Anderson .Paak as his musical alter egoDJ Pee .Wee, as well as Leon Thomas, Raye and Victoria Monet.
The tour kicks off on April 10 in Las Vegas and heads to Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium for two nights, Oct. 2 and 3.
