MISSOURI — Baseball season is just around the corner.
Both the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Royals start their spring training games during the second half of February.
Where you will be able to watch them on television is a big question heading into the season.
The Cardinals and Royals, along with seven other teams, have terminated their current TV rights contracts with FanDuel Sports Network and its parent company, Main Street Sports Group.
Both teams have been negotiating a potential return to the network, but if they move on, Major League Baseball (MLB) may become their broadcast partner.

MLB faced a similar situation with the Arizona Diamondbacks and San Diego Padres in 2023.
