With Members of Catfish, joined by Alex Voysey this will be a special night.
Burning Rope is the new band formed by former Catfish members Paul Long and Adam Pyke, with superb guitarist Alex Voysey on guitar and Mitch Weaving (who also toured with Catfish) on drums.
The band was born out of family tragedy and loss following the death last October from cancer of the Catfish frontman Matt Long, and a desire by other members of the band to continue playing music. They’ll be performing some of Paul’s songs from Catfish and previous bands, plus new material written over the past year, together with a few unusual covers.
Their first show sold out, which has started a trend for their performances, and they have played several festivals this summer. They are now touring the UK, and are planning to head out to Europe for a tour next Summer.
This will be a very special event and is a rare chance to see such a superb band in an intimate and historic venue before they inevitably go on to bigger things. Don’t miss out.
