The emotive video featured a voiceover by Catherine, who was seen enjoying an early morning walk near her family home in Windsor. According to royal author Robert Jobson, the video shows that Catherine is now not eager to “power through” and will instead soak up every moment with her family – especially her three children.
Catherine can be heard saying: “I find myself reflecting on how deeply grateful I am.
“For the rivers within us flow with ease, fears washed away, cleanse and purify. Come to peace with our tears and discover what it means to be alive.”
Speaking to Hello!, Mr Jobson said: “After everything she has been through, she feels blessed that her treatment is over, and quality time with the children [Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and seven-year-old Prince Louis] is what matters most. She takes nothing for granted.
“Birthdays are all milestones and perhaps mean more now that her children are growing up fast, but this doesn’t mean that Catherine feels the need to celebrate with grand gestures.”
Speaking of her work as a royal, he added that she will now likely be more selective in what engagements she carries out.
He added: “She won’t go back to the old pace; she’s learnt that lesson. It will be meaningful, with gaps in between for her family.
“Running on empty isn’t an option; nor is missing too much time with George, Charlotte and Louis. The days of just powering through are done.”
