London based solo-artist Revived Echoes released his latest track The Scenery of my Thoughts. It’s catchy, upbeat, and cheerful. It’s one that will get stuck in your head.
Revived Echoes has released just three songs in the last year. All the songs have a story to tell as well as including beats that will make you want to dance.
The Scenery of my Thoughts tells a tale of two people who should be together. This artist has captured the emotions perfectly within this track with the lyrics being from the heart. The track opens up with a continuous flow of ‘ooh’s, which will capture your attention as soon as you click play. Furthermore, The beat follows and it sounds like something David Guetta would have used in his tracks in 2009. It is really old school and sounds great.
On the other hand, the vocals sound like Revived Echoes is talking rather than singing along with the song. I think this lets the song down. The vocals sound good but it would have been better to have actual singing in the song rather than someone talking the lyrics. I think Revived Echoes could learn from this and partner up with someone in the future for his records.
The ending of the song is just like it started, fading out with more of the earworm ‘ooh’s. The ending just makes you want to replay the track again and again until you can’t get enough of hearing it! Ultimately, I think this song is great for its beat and the message behind it but maybe if the vocals were changed, it would have more to it. Definitely check this track out if you love EDM or house music!
