Alliance Entertainment has struck a new physical media distribution agreement with Amazon MGM Studios. The agreement will see the company handle 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases across the U.S. and Canada.

The deal positions Alliance as the exclusive distributor for a wide range of Amazon MGM Studios titles, spanning both recent releases and deep catalog favorites. Alliance plans to roll out an expanded slate of physical media offerings, including collector-focused editions and enhanced 4K presentations designed to appeal to cinephiles and franchise fans alike.

“Partnering with Amazon MGM Studios Distribution is a milestone for Alliance Entertainment, making us the exclusive distributor of an iconic library and highly anticipated new titles. We’re combining our scale and tech-driven solutions to meet consumers where they are and redefining the collectibles market with physical releases that truly stand out for fans and collectors,” said Jeff Walker, CEO of Alliance Entertainment.

Alliance brings decades of experience to the partnership, along with what it describes as the industry’s largest in-stock assortment of physical media. The company’s distribution infrastructure emphasizes rapid replenishment, broad retail visibility, and optimized placement across wholesale, e-commerce, and brick-and-mortar channels. In addition to logistics, Alliance provides creative marketing, authoring, and manufacturing expertise designed to drive category growth.

From Amazon MGM Studios’ perspective, the agreement strengthens its ability to keep films and series available in premium formats at a time when physical media is increasingly targeted toward collectors and enthusiasts. “Alliance Entertainment brings a proven track record in physical media distribution, retail execution, and collector-focused releases. This agreement supports our ongoing commitment to making our films and series available in premium formats across North America, while ensuring strong service levels for both customers and retail partners,” said John Migliacci, Director of Digital/Domestic Distribution at Amazon MGM Studios Distribution.

Under the deal, Alliance will distribute upcoming titles such as “Fallout” Season 2 and “Mercy”, while also revitalizing Amazon MGM Studios’ extensive catalog. The agreement covers globally recognized franchises, including “James Bond” and “Rocky”, alongside acclaimed films like “The Silence of the Lambs” and “Legally Blonde”. The goal, according to the companies, is to ensure consistent availability across major retail outlets and direct-to-consumer platforms.

“Amazon MGM Studios represents an extraordinary combination of iconic franchises, enduring classics, and an exciting slate of upcoming releases,” said Robert Oram, EVP of Alliance Home Entertainment. “We are excited to thoughtfully curate this library and bring it to market through premium physical formats, including collector editions and expanded 4K offerings that honor the storytelling and craftsmanship behind these titles.”
