John Mellencamp has announced a 19-stop “The Dancing Words” U.S. tour set to play venues in both Grand Rapids and Clarkston, Michigan this year.
Reprising some of his most beloved tracks, John Mellencamp is kicking off “The Dancing Words Tour: The Greatest Hits” on Friday, July 10 at Acrisure Amphitheater in Grand Rapids. The route was announced January 14 in a video featuring Sean Penn, and will bring the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer to Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, Illinois, just southwest of Chicago; Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan, north of Detroit; the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles; and more before the Wednesday, August 12 end date at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California.
Hear “Hurts So Good,” “Pink Houses,” “Small Town,” “I Need a Lover,” and more. Tickets officially go on sale Friday, January 23 at 10 a.m. local time on Ticketmaster and mellencamp.com/tour. Following the general on-sale, fans can also browse listings on sites like SeatGeek, Vivid Seats, and StubHub.
