Leslie Davis, co-host of HGTV’s “Unsellable Houses,” made two major life announcements this week. She’s engaged! She’s also divorced.
On Wednesday, the TV personality announced on Instagram that she and Season 5 “Rock the Block” winner Don Reidy were taking the next big step in their relationship.
“SURPRISE! Don popped the question during a snowy Leavenworth snowmobile ride, joined by all three of my boys, which made it even more perfect,” Davis wrote. The post featured a photo of her engagement ring alongside a bevy of shots of the happy couple.
This post immediately sparked questions from fans, who thought the 42-year-old real estate agent was still married to the father of her children. Many were unaware she was in a relationship with Reidy. On Friday, Davis addressed the confusion in a blog post.
“Okay…Okay… I know what you are all saying… “I didn’t even know you were divorced?” Davis wrote.
“Well, 1,000+ social media comments later, you all have a lot of questions. I have chosen to keep this part of my personal life private, a hard thing to do as someone with a show on HGTV. You may know my ex-husband, Jacob, my kids’ rockstar of a dad, from previous seasons of ‘Unsellable Houses’,” she said, before confirming they split in 2022.
Davis emphasized that the exes remain on good terms. “We will always share love for each other, just now in a new way. We have learned to become the best teammates, to lean on each other, to support each other’s new adventures, and always put our boys first.”
She ended the post with a lighthearted note: “And seriously, who even announces a divorce anyway? LOL!”
Davis and Reidy first met in 2023 while filming Season 5 of “Rock the Block” in Florida, where Reidy worked as a specialty carpenter.
“He worked on mine and [twin sister] Lyndsay’s home exclusively for the entire project, helping us make all of our custom woodwork items,” she told People in an exclusive interview on Thursday.
The pair stayed in touch after filming wrapped and dated long-distance for a year before Reidy relocated from Colorado to Snohomish, Washington, where Davis co-owns Lamb & Co. Real Estate.
“Unsellable Houses” premiered on HGTV in 2019 and has run for five seasons. The show follows Davis and her twin sister, Lyndsay Lamb, as they help people sell their homes through impactful and much-needed renovations in the Seattle, Washington, metro area.
Season 5 premiered in the fall of 2024. Although the show hasn’t been officially renewed for Season 6, it hasn’t been canceled either.
