BRAINERD — The Brainerd Family YMCA will partner with the Northern Pacific Center as a nonprofit cosponsor of an upcoming Murder Mystery Dinner event, a community gathering designed to bring people together while supporting local nonprofit initiatives.
The Jan. 31 event, hosted at the historic Northern Pacific Center, blends interactive entertainment with community engagement, creating an evening that highlights the power of collaboration between nonprofit organizations and local venues. While the YMCA is not the primary event host, its role as a co-sponsor reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the Brainerd lakes area through creative partnerships.
“This collaboration is a great example of how community organizations can work together in meaningful ways,” said Shane Riffle, CEO of the Brainerd Family YMCA, in a news release. “When nonprofits and local partners align, we’re able to create experiences that engage the community while ultimately supporting programs that serve local families.”
Partnerships like this help the YMCA continue its mission of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility by offsetting costs and strengthening relationships that support future community-focused programming and events. The YMCA’s involvement also reflects its ongoing presence at the Northern Pacific Center, where several upcoming events and initiatives will continue to benefit the community.
The Murder Mystery Dinner event will feature a fully immersive experience complete with themed entertainment, dinner, and opportunities for guests to interact throughout the evening. Attendees are encouraged to dress in theme and enjoy a night of fun in a historic setting.
