First Entertainment Credit Union launched CineFi as a digital credit union for TV, content creation and influencer professionals in the Atlanta area. This credit union aims to bridge the gap between financial services and the entertainment industry, according to a press release.
The digital credit union provides a banking platform with a high-yield and savings account, direct deposits up to two days early and access to more than 33,000 surcharge-free ATMs.
CineFi is available as a full digital credit union in Atlanta, with its services available nationwide, according to the release.
“At CineFi, we believe financial empowerment is essential to creative freedom,” Stephen Owen, president and CEO of First Entertainment Credit Union and CineFi, said in the release. “By creating a credit union built exclusively for entertainment professionals, we’re giving both established talent and rising voices the tools they need to thrive — not just financially, but as part of a stronger, more connected creative community.”
