After dominating 2023 and staying visible through major collaborations, RAYE is ready to usher in a new era.
RAYE has long been one of the most undeniable talents in modern pop and R&B, even when the industry tried to box her in. The London-born singer-songwriter is known for her razor-sharp pen, genre-blurring sound, and ability to turn vulnerability into anthems. Over the years, she’s worked with artists like Mark Ronson, Drake, Beyoncé, David Guetta, Jax Jones, and Mahalia, building a résumé that screams superstar long before the numbers caught up.
And speaking of numbers, RAYE is very much a major artist. She averages around 54 million monthly listeners on Spotify and owns multiple tracks with billions of streams. Despite that, she didn’t release a full-length album in either 2024 or 2025. Instead, she stayed active through high-profile collaborations, including “Suzanne” with Mark Ronson and “Grandma Calls The Boy Bad News” from the F1 The Album soundtrack.
Her last album, My 21st Century Blues, dropped in 2023 and instantly became a cultural moment. Featuring guest appearances from 070 Shake and Mahalia, the project spawned massive records like “Escapism” and “Oscar Winning Tears,” cementing RAYE as a fearless storyteller with pop-star reach.
Now, she’s officially set to return with a new album titled THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE, arriving March 27. If her trajectory tells us anything, this project will be another step toward solidifying that RAYE is, quite simply, the s**t.
