It is believed his daughters are currently his main concern and have been throughout the last few months as he has faced more and more scandals surrounding his past friendship with the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew has continued to deny accusations against him.
A friend of the family told The Mail this week: “Andrew’s main concern is that his daughters are not tainted by his difficulties, so he is keeping his distance from them.
“Bea and Eug feel very sorry for their parents. They are keeping in touch with them and making sure they’re OK.”
It is not known when Beatrice and Eugenie last saw their father at his Royal Lodge home, or whether they will visit him again at the 30-room property before he moves.
It is also not known if they have any plans to see him in his new Marsh Farm home on the King’s private Sandringham estate.
While Beatrice and Eugenie have not been seen with their parents for some time, they have still been seen with each other.
Andrew and Sarah were believed to have not been invited to either occasion.
