Does Robert Pattinson allow his daughter to watch his own films?
Robert Pattinson, who has largely kept his daughter out of the spotlight, is giving fans a rare glimpse into his life after embarking on the blissful journey of fatherhood.
In an interview with GQ published on Friday, January 23, the 39-year-old actor revealed that he has already started showing films featuring himself to his daughter.
“Oh, she has seen so many of them already,” Pattinson quipped.
He added, “If I’m not getting any respect, I’ll be like, ‘Who’s this? Who’s that on the screen?’ And she’s like… [blank stare]. And I’m like, ‘It begins with a D! Ends with a Y!’ She’s watching Mickey 17.”
Speaking to PEOPLE at the premiere of Die My Love, which stars him alongside Jennifer Lawrence as new parents, Pattinson shared that the film’s production overlapped with the birth of his daughter.
“My daughter was basically the same age as the child in the movie,” he said in November 2025. “So you’re kind of going through incredibly similar stuff.”
“You don’t know—no one knows how to do it correctly. I mean, you can just try your best,” the Tenet star added.
Robert Pattinson and his fiancée Suki Waterhouse, who have been romantically involved since 2018, announced their engagement in December 2023 and welcomed their daughter in March 2024.
