‘Patriot’: Nayanthara stuns fans in new poster
Nayanthara’s first look from the upcoming film Patriot has been revealed, raising netizens’ curiosity.
The poster displayed only half of the 41-year-old actress’s face as she dons a saree, her face showing thoughtful and serious look.
The poster reads, “Dissent is patriotic,” giving a glimpse into the film’s socio political themes.
The star’s first peek comes after the release of October 2, 2025, teaser.
Meanwhile, under the direction of Mahesh Narayanan, famous in Malayalam cinema, Patriot cast includes Mohanlal, Mammootty, Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, Darshana Rajendran, and Revathy.
In the teaser, Mohanlal appears as Col Rahim Naik while Mammootty plays Dr Daniel James.
The plot seems to focus on their alliance to dismantle a mysterious operation, with hints at a student laptop scheme and a secret element called ‘Periscope’.
One standout moment features Mohanlal saying, “There are three of us. Can you stop us?” The dialogue has stirred theories of a third key character which added more suspense to the plot.
Notably, along with direction Mahesh also wrote the screenplay. Interestingly, the thrilling mood of the upcoming movie added more intensity by Sushin Shyam’s soundtrack.
