The White House held a star-studded private screening of Melania Trump’s documentary, Melania, reportedly attended not only by President Trump and the First Lady herself, but also by a slew of celebrities, from Saudi royals to tech CEOS.
The Hollywood Reporter reports the special screening took place Saturday, Jan. 24, where President Trump and the First Lady were joined by 70 guests, including a motley crew of VIPs such as Apple CEO Tim Cook, former boxer and convicted rapist Mike Tyson, Queen Rania of Jordan, Zoom CEO Eric Yuan, New York Stock Exchange CEO Lynn Martin, AMD CEO Lisa Su and more.
Fiat heiress Azzi Agnelli was also in attendance, as was motivational speaker Tony Robbins and celebrity photographer Ellen von Unwerth, who shot the documentary poster.
Marc Beckman, Melania’s senior advisor and agent, told Fox News Digital the screening was attended by”cultural iconoclasts” and people connected to the First Lady’s career.
“They were people from all walks of life, people from design, people from sports,” he said. “We had royalty, people from business, like big tech CEOs, as well as finance and beyond. So it was really such an interesting group of people that were assembled — all reflective of her personality and her brand.”

Melania captures the 20 days before President Trump’s inauguration in 2025 from the First Lady’s perspective. Amazon reportedly spent $40 million on the licensing rights for the film, with a three-part documentary series also on the way.
Director Brett Ratner, who has a murky past of his own, was also in attendance. Melania marks the first film Ratner has directed since being accused of sexual harassment in 2017 by six women, including Olivia Munn, Natasha Henstridge, and Jamie Ray Newman. Ratner was also spotted in the Epstein files released in December. The Rush Hour director shared a photo from the event with Cook to his Instagram Story, according to The Daily Beast.
This was reportedly the president’s first time seeing the movie in full.
But the screening did not take place in the usual theater in the White House’s East Wing. Construction on Trump’s ballroom is still ongoing, which means Melania had to build a “make-shift theater” and brought in a giant movie screen for the screening, according to THR.
Melania will celebrate its world premiere Jan. 29 at the Kennedy Center, but the White House screening reportedly marks the first of many smaller premieres that will reportedly take place in Nashville, San Francisco, Boston and Vegas for “local VIPs.”
Melania premieres in theaters Friday, Jan. 30.
