The One Battle After Another breakout has been nominated for best Leading Actress at the BAFTA Film Awards, which take place in London next month. It adds to her Rising Star nomination announced last week.
Infiniti, who played the willful Willa in Paul Thomas Anderson’s drama, will compete for a BAFTA mask with Jessie Buckley (Hamnet), Rose Byrne (If I Had Legs I’d Kick You), Kate Hudson (Song Sung Blue), Renate Reinsve (Sentimental Value), and Emma Stone (Bugonia).
Infiniti’s nomination follows an outcry over her exclusion from the Academy Awards, with co-star Leonardo DiCaprio among those arching an eyebrow. DiCaprio, who plays Willa’s father Bob Ferguson, told Associated Press that she was the “heart and soul” of One Battle After Another.
