Welcome to your Queer Weekly Horoscope, a bite-sized look at the coming days, broken down by your zodiac sign.
Your Queer Weekly Horoscope for February 2-8, 2026: Dance or die! Not to be too dramatic but I cannot stop thinking about this memoir titled “Dance or Die” from Ahmad Joudeh and its relevance to current Astrology.
Uranus, the planet of change, evolution, and progress ends a retrograde which started on September 6, 2025 in Gemini — but then went into Taurus again through its retrograde where its transited since 2019 — and reminds us that if we don’t move, we suffer. It may have to be this binary just this once because Uranus in Taurus has confronted the collective since 2018 with the death that comes from doubling down in our defensiveness and dogma. So now that Uranus is moving direct in Taurus for the last time in 84 years, it’s time to dance. It’s time to get over our rigid thinking intrinsically, externally, and everywhere in between. Because only that which is immovable is dead. Only what dances lives. Only what moves survives.
So when Uranus moves direct in Taurus until April 26, reflect on all that you learned about how you change, when you change, where you haven’t but you still might need to, and all that you have to dance through in order to step into the newness that 2026 wants to give you.
Your spiritual practice could help you tremendously especially when Mercury enters Pisces on February 6 until April 14. It’s a bit longer than its usual three and a half week stay because Mercury will retrograde in Pisces on February 26 until March 20 so in the meantime, return to your spiritual practice especially and consider how it helps you in moments of transition, change, and upheaval. Does it give you a place to place your rage? Your anguish? Hope? Longing? It’s so critical that in these times we really lean on our path and try to receive the direction the divine is assigning each and everyone of us so we can do our part! If you’re not quite there with “spirituality” which I completely understand because of how it’s been weaponized against LGBTQIA+ peoples, look to the arts and your creative expression as another place to process the unprocessed. Not as a means of optimizing, problem-solving, or fixing but simply witnessing where we need to expect and accept nonclosure. And if anything, just remember to cry. When it’s all too much, let the tears flow!
A curious Venus-Uranus square on February 8th helps you stay open to change and surprise when it comes to your romantic relationships. Since Venus is in Aquarius and Uranus is in Taurus, these two signs don’t really love to adapt and stay open to newness because they thrive in focus and follow through. So even if it’s especially challenging to be skeptical of suspicion or cynicism even, be open to how other people change when their hearts are on fire with new information. And stay open to the fact that a new connection can become yours in a moment you never expected and isn’t that exciting?
