The biopic, based on the 2023 book “Deliver Me From Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska” by Warren Zanes, chronicles the making of the musician’s famously dark 1982 album “Nebraska.” On the brink of global superstardom, the film explores how Springsteen struggled to reconcile the pressures of fame and success with skeletons from his past.

The film stars Jeremy Allen White as the Boss, and also features Jeremy Strong, Odessa Young, Paul Walter Hauser, Stephen Graham, Gaby Hoffmann, Marc Maron and David Krumholtz.

“Kidnapped: Elizabeth Smart” is one of the top movies currently trending on Netflix. The investigative documentary revisits the 2002 kidnapping of Smart, who was snatched from her Salt Lake City bedroom at 14 years old by a man claiming to be a prophet named Emmanuel.

In the film, Smart recounts her abduction in harrowing detail. The documentary also features first-person accounts from law enforcement officers who worked the case as well as family members — including her younger sister, Mary Katherine, who witnessed the kidnapping and was key to Smart’s rescue.

“The Smashing Machine” is the No. 1 movie on HBO Max right now. The true-life-inspired sports drama stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as mixed martial arts and UFC fighter Mark Kerr, “whose obsession with greatness made him a legend and nearly cost him everything,” per the movie’s logline.

The 2025 film, which just received an Oscar nomination for Best Makeup and Hairstyling, also stars Emily Blunt, Ryan Bader and Bas Rutten.

“Sinners” is currently trending at the top of Prime Video after making Oscar history last week. The acclaimed horror smash, written and directed by Ryan Coogler, follows gangster twins Smoke and Stack (Michael B. Jordan) as they try to leave their troubled past behind and return home to Mississippi to open up a juke joint. But the brothers’ plans are soon thwarted by a supernatural evil (Jack O’Connell) that comes knocking.

The film also stars Miles Caton, Hailee Steinfeld, Wunmi Mosaku, Delroy Lindo, Omar Benson Miller and Jayme Lawson.

“Sinners” earned a whopping 16 nominations from the academy this year — including first-time acting nods for Jordan, Mosaku and Lindo, as well as a directing nod for Coogler — making it the most Oscar-nominated film in history.

“Tron: Ares” is the top movie on Disney+ right now. The sci-fi flick marks mankind’s first encounter with AI beings after a highly sophisticated Program named Ares (Jared Leto) leaves the digital world for a dangerous mission in the real world.

Jeff Bridges, Evan Peters, Gillian Anderson, Greta Lee and Jodie Turner-Smith also star in the film.
