In a major example of the anti-ice protests reaching Hollywood, “Grey’s Anatomy” has paused production on Friday in recognition of the call for a national shutdown.

In response to Ice raids in Minneapolis and a string of highly publicized killings by federal agents — hundreds of organizations have endorsed a one-day stoppage of labor and commerce. “No work. No school. No shopping. Stop funding Ice,” reads the website for the strike.

Sources close to “Grey’s Anatomy” confirm to Variety that crew members working on the ABC medical drama planned to not show up on Friday, prompting producers to postpone production for the day.
