A TV and YouTube celebrity from Wiltshire has landed his own TV series, set to air on Sky.
Joe Sugg, brother to YouTuber Zoella, shot to fame through his YouTube channel Thatcher Joe, before turning his talents to the West End, Strictly Come Dancing and art creation.
Joe, who grew up in Lacock, attended the Corsham School from 2003-2010, before taking on an apprenticeship as a roof thatcher.
In 2018, he became a finalist on hit show Strictly Come Dancing with his celebrity partner Dianne Buswell, and the pair announced they were romantic partners shortly after the series ended.
Now, more than seven years on from when they first met, the pair have announced they are filming for a new TV series ahead of the birth of their first child.
The new TV series, titled Raiders of the Lost Crafts, will air on Sky History and see the pair travel across the UK to learn more about some of the country’s most traditional crafts.
The couple revealed the project in a joint Instagram post, sharing behind-the-scenes photos and clips from filming.
An air date has not been confirmed yet, but the show is currently in production.

The announcement comes just two months before the Wiltshire-born star and his Strictly partner are expecting the birth of their first son.
A video, shared on both celebrities’ social media pages, was captioned: “Our little baby boy. We cannot wait to meet you.”
The song ‘Tiny Dancer’ by Elton John plays in the background, in reference to how the couple met and fell in love as dance partners.
The canvas also makes reference to the art which Sugg frequently creates and hangs around the couple’s home.
Although the pair have now moved towards Brighton, Sugg and his celebrity sister Zoe were born and raised in Lacock in Wiltshire, where their father still lives.
Both siblings have spoken positively about their childhood growing up in the Wiltshire village.

Speaking previously to PA, Joe said: “I grew up in a National Trust village called Lacock in Wiltshire.
“My mum had always been a very keen gardener and we were very fortunate that every house we moved to, the garden was a big part of the property.
“My mum got her gardening knowledge from her dad, my grandfather, who grew up on a farm in Somerset, so it has been passed down.”
Speaking previously about her thoughts on family, Buswell revealed she wanted to have children when the time is right and “everything aligns”.
She told Prima magazine: “We’ve always wanted kids, it’s just finding the right time. I don’t feel worried about taking time out from dancing, I just don’t see the point in worrying.”
