After being stripped of his titles and evicted from Royal Lodge due to his ties to Jeffrey Epstein, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is trying not to get Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie involved in his drama. “Andrew’s main concern is that his daughters are not tainted by his difficulties, so he is keeping his distance from them,” a source told Daily Mail.

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were dealt a double dose of drama when their mother, Sarah Ferguson, was also punished for her friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. “Bea and Eug feel very sorry for their parents. They are keeping in touch with them and making sure they’re OK. Both Andrew [Mountbatten-Windsor] and Sarah want their daughters to remain part of the royal family and were happy for them to spend Christmas in Norfolk [with the royal family],” the source said.

Despite Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson’s banishment from The Firm, King Charles III has kept Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie in the royal fold. “I think that Charles feels quite responsible for these two girls, because it’s been a hideous time for them. Really hideous,” royal expert Ingrid Seward told The Sun. “I know they’ve got supportive husbands, but they’ve both got young children and I think it’s been very, very difficult.”

Sarah Ferguson and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s scandal has reportedly shaken Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. “The Yorks are an extremely close-knit family. The disgrace of Sarah Ferguson has followed that of Andrew, who has become an international pariah,” royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Daily Express. “Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie will find their parents’ predicament devastating.”
