Luke Combs is getting real about his weight loss journey.
“Obviously I’ve been working real hard on this record for a long time, and I’ve got this lead single coming out. I’m just jazzed, man,” Combs told fans in a July 2025 Instagram Story. “Good day. Great day to be alive. Kid’s down 30 lbs. Lot of hard work. Lot of missed cakes on birthdays.”
The weight loss update came as Combs released the song “Back in the Saddle,” the first single from his The Way I Am record, set to be released in March 2026.
Combs has been candid about his desire to lose weight after welcoming sons Tex Lawrence in June 2022 and Beau Lee in August 2023 with wife Nicole Hocking.
“This having a kid thing has really messed up my head on [my health] in the best way,” the country star said during a 2022 interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music. “I want to be around, dude.”
