We knew a joke about Nicki Minaj was inevitable at this year’s Grammys and, of course, host Trevor Noah was the one to deliver the blow. During his opening monologue, the comedian took a jab at the rapper for her controversial new alliance with the president and for skipping the annual show, saying, “Nicki Minaj is not here. She is still at the White House with Donald Trump, discussing very important issues.”
“Actually, Nicki, I have the biggest ass. Everybody’s saying it, Nicki,” Noah added, mocking Trump.
Minaj has been under fire all week since her appearance at Trump’s Accounts Summit in Washington, D.C., where she proudly declared herself his “No. 1 fan.” Noah’s joke is just the latest to poke at the pair’s alliance.
