Sullivan joins following the exit of Perkins Miller from the top post at the the fan-community-driven media company last October.
Launched in 2004, Fandom is best known for its wiki platform that attracts 350 million unique visitors per month. The company is also the owner of GameSpot, Metacritic, TV Guide and Fanatical.
Previously, Sullivan served as General Manager of Twitter’s consumer and revenue products, leading engineering, product, design, research and data science. Prior to Twitter, Sullivan held executive positions at Facebook, Groupon and Mozilla.
“Wiki technology makes it possible for 300 million fans monthly to pursue their pop culture interests on Fandom, and in the age of AI, those capabilities for fans to dive deep into what they love can be amplified in exciting ways,” Fandom co-chairman of the board and Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales said.
