Joe recommends: The world of fakeyourdeath makes its electrifying return, as their frenzied sound of drum grooves, dancing synths and passion-filled vocals, make for another captivating single in “Shapeshifter“. The duo once again showing their penchant for their electronic-come-alternative sound, and it’s still one that is some of the best across the UK, and deserves to be bouncing off the walls of venues much more in 2025.

Dobbin recommends: A delicious drop from Brighton’s most irreverent and aggressive band, Healing Wound returned on Monday with a truly addictive single. Hitting all the marks of quality for grindcore, powerviolence, and hardcore at once, it’s also unreasonably catchy for such a cacophony. An incredibly promising start to their debut album cycle.
