Could Watch Hill handle a Taylor Swift wedding?
If you traveled home to Rhode Island for Thanksgiving this year, the state’s favorite celebrity homeowner may have been traveling alongside with you.
Rumors have been circulating on social media that Taylor Swift and her newly engaged fiancé Travis Kelce celebrated the holiday at Swift’s mansion in Watch Hill. Celebrity gossip Instagram account @deuxmoi posted an anonymously submitted tip which reads “taylor and travis are spending the long thanksgiving weekend in rhode island at the holiday house.” The account mostly posts anonymous gossip.
On Sunday, Nov. 30, The Providence Journal received a similar anonymous tip saying that Swift’s parents joined the festivities. While Swift’s plane is no longer available to be publicly tracked, there was a flight from Groton-New London Airport to Kansas City, Missouri on Nov. 30 that aligns with the speculation.
While Kelce played a game in Dallas on Thanksgiving Day, fans noticed that Swift was absent from the stands, meaning it is very possible she was celebrating the holiday somewhere else. The rumor that she was in Rhode Island has not yet been confirmed.

If the rumors are true, this year would not be the first time Swift has celebrated Thanksgiving in the Ocean State. Back in 2016, the popstar invited family and friends to her Watch Hill estate for the holiday.
Along with Swift’s mom Andrea, dad Scott and brother Austin, celebrity guests in attendance included Martha Hunt, Lily Donaldson, Todrick Hall, Jari Haile and Leah McCarthy. The group celebrated the occasion with various Instagram posts of a wintry beach photoshoot, as well as a video of Swift’s circle doing the then-viral Mannequin challenge.

Whether or not Swift and Kelce celebrated Thanksgiving in Rhode Island, the star-studded couple may be preparing to host an even bigger event in the Ocean State – their wedding.
Rumors of a Rhode Island wedding for the pair have been circulating on social media since Swift announced their engagement back in August of this year. In September, both Page Six and Realtor.com columnist Kelsi Karruli validated the rumors, with Page Six saying the couple will get married in Rhode Island next summer.
