It’s the first Friday the 13th of 2026 in a couple days and wouldn’t you know it, but the Mardi Gras season will also be in full swing down in New Orleans. So what better time for the boys in Down to release a new tune and an accompanying music video?
In a post on the band’s social media pages, the sludge/stoner metal supergroup featuring Pantera’s Phil Anselmo, Corrosion of Conformity’s Pepper Keenan, Eyehategod’s Jimmy Bower, and Crowbar’s Kirk Windstein and Patrick Bruders announced the impending video release.
We’ve known for a while that their fourth full-length studio album is expected to drop some time this year, so this would be one way of getting the word out. It’s only been nearly two decades since they last released an album, so what’s a couple more days before we potentially hear some new tunes from Down? When that shit drops, we’ll have it here.
