Oh, baby, baby. Britney Spears is in for a major payday after selling the rights to her renowned music catalog.
On Tuesday, TMZ reported that the “…Baby One More Time” singer has sold the rights to her music to publisher Primary Wave for a “landmark deal,” the terms of which weren’t disclosed. However, the outlet reported that it’s close to the $200 million Justin Bieber signed when he sold his catalog in 2023.

The website obtained the legal documents tied to the sale, which was signed by the Kentwood, Louisiana native’s manager Cade Hudson, on Dec. 30, 2025.
So far, Spears hasn’t commented on the massive sale.
This isn’t the first time Primary Wave has gotten its hands on a well-known catalog. Rolling Stone reported it has made deals with Stevie Nicks and the estates of Whitney Houston, Bob Marley, Prince and The Notorious B.I.G.

The singer is known for pop-cultural touchstone hits like “Oops! … I Did It Again,” “Toxic,” “Gimme More,” “Slave 4 U,” “Stronger,” “Womanzier” and “Work B—h.” The singer’s last album, “Glory,” was released in 2016. It debuted at Number 3 on the U.S. Billboard 200.
Since her 2021 release from her 13 year conservatorship, the only new music the singer has worked on is a collaboration with Elton John.
