Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s eldest daughter, North, has sparked concern with her ongoing love of piercings, and it appears she has five studs scattered across her face
Kim Kardashian’s daughter, North, has been seen with symmetrical studs pierced across her face as part of her latest fashion statement. The 12-year-old has been busy, carving a name out for herself as a musician, following in the footsteps of her controversial father, Kanye ‘Ye’ West.
But a new image shows the pre-teen rocking what looks to be a string of studs scattered across her cheeks, lip, and a new Erl piercing, across the bridge of the nose.
The new bling, is not the only piercings North has been rocking in recent months. The budding musician has been spotted with studs across both her hands and wrists, prompting concern on social media. Fans had branded North’s famous parents irresponsible for having so many piercings, but the truth has now emerged.
While they look like stud piercings, some social media users insisted they are just temporary stickers designed to look real. One fan said: “She has two piercings & the rest are glued on, how y’all don’t see this. I would hate to be a celebs kid. I absolutely loved being a child.”
North has previously hit back at critics, who slammed her parents for allowing her to have the jewellery. Hitting back on TikTok, via an account she shares with Kim, she shared a video of herself, while a sound in the background said: “Why are you crying? How old are you? Just pull it together.”
She added text over the top which read: “This is for everyone that’s mad over a finger piercing.” Meanwhile, Kim defended her mothering during an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast. She said: “It makes her so happy. I would never take that creative [style] away from her.
While North has become known for her piercings, she’s also got another very different look, having ditched her glossy black hair in favour of bright blue locks.
And towards the end of last year, North also changed the appearance of her teeth, with a custom-made set of grillz by Johnny Dang. Instead of her pearly whites, she now has a pair of black grillz, designed by Sukii Baby.
And it appears that this is all part of North’s plan to launch her own fashion and jewellery label. North’s mum, trainee lawyer and businesswoman Kim Kardashian, has filed three trademark applications for the line called NOR11.
The name appears to be made up of the first three letters of North’s name, as well as the age when she came up with the idea. One application was made for clothing and accessories, including footwear, hats, stockings and dresses. While another was for watches and jewellery, as well as bracelets, earrings, rings, and necklaces.
While a third was for bags, handbags, wallets and cosmetic cases. The trademarks were filed by KimYe’s Kid Inc., a California corporation incorporated in August 2023. And while the brand name reflects both of North’s parents, it appears that West is not included.
The only officer listed is Kim, and the registered office is that of Lou Taylor, a business manager.
