WHEELING WV (WTRF) – The Wheeling Nailers welcomed in the Reading Royals for a three game series from Feb. 13 to Feb. 15.
On Friday Feb. 13 the Royals shut out the Nailers in a 3-0.
On Saturday Feb. 14, the Nailers got back a game in a 6-3 victory over the Royals.
On Sunday Feb. 15, the final game of the series headed into a shoot-out where the Royals came out on top with the 3-2 victory. Reading takes the overtime win and the series.
The Nailers will have over a week off before hitting the ice again as they are set to host the Fort Wayne Comets on Feb. 25 for a 7:10 p.m. puck drop.
