In fact, I’ve heard Netflix has shown some interest in acquiring the sequel, but Danny Boyle isn’t having any of it. He wants a theatrical release for this final chapter, which is supposed to star Cillian Murphy.”
Indeed, Sony did announce that they were moving ahead with Chapter 3 prior to Bone Temple‘s theatrical release this past January. While Dread has not confirmed these rumors, it certainly wouldn’t come as a shock that Sony now has cold feet.
