Almost a decade after it ended, Bones has yet to be matched. However, NBC is trying with its new slate of pilots.
Several days after Bones lead star David Boreanaz joined a new pilot for the reboot of The Rockford Files, NBC is doubling down with a new series. Per Variety, Boreanaz’s former co-star Emily Deschanel has received her own lead in the network’s untitled drama pilot from Dean Georgaris (Quantum Leap) and John Fox (The Equalizer).
NBC had ordered the pilot in January, which will be produced by Universal Studio Group‘s Universal TV.
