Actress and reality television show personality Lisa Rinna is getting candid about her time on the Bravo series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
During an appearance on a February 2026 episode ofJesse Tyler Ferguson‘s podcast, Dinner’s on Me, Rinna noted that she starred on RHOBHfor eight seasons until the show’s 12th season, which premiered in 2022. She revealed how her two daughters, models Amelia Gray Hamlin, 24, and Delilah Belle Hamlin, 27, who she shares with her husband Harry Hamlin, felt about her filming the Bravo show. She explained that Amelia and Delilah weren’t all that fond of appearing in front of the RHOBH cameras.
“They were so young, you know, they were teenagers at the time and they really just don’t remember that much of it, I think,” said Rinna during the podcast interview. “But they just didn’t want to film. I remember that. And I would have to bribe them to film. Of course, they would want the kids. I’d be like, ‘Okay, I’ll buy you this. You just come film for like 15, 20 minutes.'”
Lisa Rinna Discussed Joining the ‘RHOBH’ Cast
While recording the Dinner’s on Me episode, Rinna discussed her decision to star in RHOBH during its fifth season. She noted that she primarily worked as an actress and spokesperson before filming for RHOBH. She explained that RHOBH enabled her to get more career opportunities.
“I knew that at the time in my career, I needed that real estate. I mean, that’s why I did it ’cause I knew it was really high visibility and could help with business. And I needed a win,” said the Melrose Place actress in the interview.
Rinna also suggested that negative reactions from social media users were one of the reasons she decided to leave RHOBH.
“The first five years on the show, it was manageable because the zeitgeist and the fan base hadn’t become so angry. That’s what changed, is the response to us changed, and that made it really difficult,” said Rinna to Ferguson.
Rinna also noted that her mother, Lois Rinna, died during her final season of the show. She said she wished she had taken a break from RHOBH following her mother’s death. She said, however, that she believed the network wouldn’t have been happy if she stopped filming mid-season.
She clarified that she is “grateful for” RHOBH.
“I think everything that you do in life leads you further on your path,” said Rinna.
