The Eagles aren’t nesting much longer.
After a record-breaking 58-concert residency at Las Vegas’ Sphere, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers announced they’re striking out on a three-concert ‘The Long Goodbye, Act III’ Tour with special guest Tedeschi Trucks Band.

No word yet on whether or not this trio of gigs will officially be the last for Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Deacon Frey, Vince Gill and the rest of the legendary group. Earlier this month, Henley told CBS Morning News “I think this year will probably be it… and I’m OK with that” in an extended interview.
Prior to this quick three-concert run, the “Hotel California” hitmakers are slated to headline eight more shows at Sphere from Feb. 27 through April 11 and lend their talents to the annual New Orleans Jazz Festival.
Based on our findings at Set List FM, the group typically performs approximately 20 songs per concert. That includes fan favorites like “Take It Easy,” “Life In The Fast Lane,” “Desperado,” “Witchy Woman” and, of course, “Hotel California.”
“Eagles’ Long Goodbye tour might be the least quintessentially rock ‘n’ roll farewell trek on the market right now. It might also be the best,” Ultimate Classic Rock raved about a show the group put on at Austin, TX’s Moody Center in February 2024.
“While many legacy acts have increasingly relied on spectacle to distract from their failing vocals (or possibly outright fakery), Eagles continue to do what they’ve done best for more than 50 years: deliver their songs with near-flawless precision, providing ‘a two-hour vacation from the madness,’ as Henley put it.”

New Orleans Jazz Festival 2026
Once the residency concludes, The Eagles will headline at the annual New Orleans Jazz Festival, which takes place April 23 through May 3.
They’ll be joined by big names like Stevie Nicks, Rod Stewart, David Byrne, Earth Wind and Fire and Little Feat over the two-weekend extravaganza.

Vince Gill tour
Even though there won’t be any more Eagles shows come summer time, band member Vince Gill will hit the road all by his lonesome on a solo run he’s calling the ’50 Years From Home Tour’ from June through August.

When you’ve been “taking it to the limit” since 1971, there’s bound to be a bit of shakeup in your group.
Still, after 50+ years together, 78-year-old founding member Don Henley (drums, vocals, also known for the timeless ’80s smash “Boys of Summer), continues to head the group.
At all Sphere dates, he’s joined by 78-year-old Joe Walsh (who also fronted The James Gang), 78-year-old Timothy B. Schmit (bassist and vocalist who played with Poco), 22-time Grammy winner Vince Gill and the late Glenn Frey’s 30-something son, Deacon.
Past members that are no longer with the band include Frey (who passed away in 2016) and Randy Meisner (he left this mortal coil in 2023). Bernie Leadon is still alive but hasn’t played with the band since 2016. As for guitarist Don Felder, he recently toured with Styx and REO Speedwagon’s Kevin Cronin, although The Post reported he suffered a medical emergency at a show in 2025.
Over the course of the group’s half-century together, The Eagles have received six Grammy Awards, performed over 1,000 concerts, and sold over 150 million albums.
Yeah, turns out they really did “Take It To The Limit.”

On top of the three-show run with Eagles, Tedeschi Trucks Band has shows all over North America from March through October including ten (!) concerts at NYC’s Beacon Theatre in March.
