Ballerina Farm business owners Hannah Neeleman and her husband, Daniel Neeleman, have made headlines through the years.
The pair — who launched Ballerina Farm in 2017 — rose to online fame giving glimpses of their life on their Utah farm, with Hannah cooking and cleaning while homeschooling and caring for her and Daniel’s eight children. (In February 2026, Hannah shared that she and Daniel are expecting their ninth child.)
Despite social media trying to label Hannah as a “trad wife” (short for “traditional wife”) due to her lifestyle, she has denied this idea.
“Because we are traditional in the sense that it’s a man and a woman, we have children, but I do feel like we’re paving a lot of paths that haven’t been paved before,” Hannah explained to The Sunday Times in 2024, noting that she doesn’t “necessarily identify” with the label.
Hannah went on to note that she has a high-earning job as a contributor on her and Daniel’s farm. When Daniel was asked whether he identifies as the head of the household, he replied, “No. We’re co-CEOs.”

Daniel Neeleman Played Collegiate Lacrosse
Daniel and Hannah Neeleman first crossed paths when she was a senior in college. The pair dated for a couple of months before getting married, something Hannah wrote was “the best decision [she] ever made,” on their website.
Daniel ended his collegiate lacrosse career early, moving to New York to support Hannah through her final year at Juilliard. (Daniel attended BYU from 2009 to 2013 before going to the University of Utah for his MBA from 2018 to 2020, per his LinkedIn.)

Daniel Neeleman’s father, David Neeleman, is the founder of Azul, Jet Blue and Breeze Airways. In October 2022, David shared a photo of him blowing out candles alongside numerous grandchildren. “I’m a blessed man to have all these grandchildren to help me blow out my birthday candles 🎂 !” he wrote via Instagram at the time.
