St. Augustine’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade is the oldest recorded St. Patrick’s Day parade. The parade gathered crowds on March 8, 2025.
St. Augustine’s Celtic Music and Heritage Festival will be held March 14-15 at Francis Field in historic downtown.
The two-day event features traditional and Celtic rock bands from Ireland, Scotland and Canada plus food, vendors and athletic competitions known as the Highland Games.
Running in tandem with the St. Augustine St. Patrick’s Day Parade, the award-winning festival ― winner of St. Augustine’s Official Community Choice Awards for 2023 and 2024 ― begins with a whiskey-tasting event on Friday, March 13 at 6:30 p.m. The Highland Games begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, and Sunday, March 15.
Musical performances on two stages begin at noon Saturday and 11:30 a.m. on Sunday. Bands include Albannach, Celtic Conundrum, Gaêlica, Mudmen, Steel City Rovers and Syr. New this year is a featured music workshop with the Steel City Rovers.
General admission tickets can be purchased online, in person at Ann O’Malley’s Irish Pub and at the gate on both days. Children 12 and younger and active-duty and retired military personnel are free. VIP all-weekend tickets are also available while supplies last.
Whiskey-tasting tickets are sold separately with limited seating. Credit cards are not accepted at the gate or the beverage tents – all ticket, beverage and festival merchandise sales are cash only. ATMs are available at the gate. Vendors may accept credit cards. Blankets or chairs are welcome. No pets are permitted on the festival grounds. Outside alcoholic beverages, coolers and firearms are also prohibited.
Free shuttles will be available every 20 minutes on March 15 from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Shuttles run every 20 minutes between 198 W. King St. and the Visitors Information Center at 10 S. Castillo Drive. Parking can be found at the Historic Downtown Parking Garage and limited paid street parking.
