Morrone publicly confirmed the relationship in May 2025 when she shared a series of Instagram Stories celebrating Bennett’s 29th birthday. In one image, she squeezed Bennett’s face, captioning the photo, “Happy birthday baby.”

Speaking to Complex in December 2023, Bennett explained that creative growth has come from pushing himself beyond his comfort zone. “I found myself very uncomfortable and overwhelmed in many points of this process,” he said. “When you push your boundaries, you learn so much about yourself and what you want to be better at.”
Reflecting on his creative approach, he told Billboard, “I think storytelling can be done in so many different ways. When I first started making music videos, it was a lot of point-and-shoot and then having fun in the edit; there was no storyline. I do want to eventually do films; that’s a dream of mine—but I didn’t love trying to create a narrative within a music video.”
“That then led me to realize that you can storytell in a lot of different ways,” he continued. “You can storytell with a strong color palette… and all these worlds can live together in a really profound and visually appealing way.”

Bennett grew up in Plano, Illinois, a town west of Chicago. As a teenager, he frequently traveled into the city to attend shows and immerse himself in the local hip-hop scene.
