Jim Carrey’s new look is capturing the internet’s attention after new videos surfaced from the 51st César Awards in Paris on Thursday, Feb. 26.
Carrey, 64, accepted an honorary award and delivered a speech in French at the ceremony in Paris, accompanied by his 38-year-old daughter, Jane, his partner, her teenage son Jackson, and his “sublime companion,” Min Ah.
Photos and videos from the event spread online, where viewers began commenting on his appearance, with some speculating he’s had work done.
“Why does he look like an old version of his younger self but not just regular old Jim Carrey😭 I can’t explain it,” one user, CactusJackson (@broguy67), wrote on Feb. 26 on X.
“That is not Jim Carrey,” someone else added.
“I’m not a conspiracy theorist but that’s not Jim Carrey,” another said.
Carrey has not publicly addressed the online reaction.
