
Sharon Osbourne’s raw BRIT Awards speech leaves crowd cheering for Ozzy
Sharon Osbourne fondly remembered her late husband, Ozzy Osbourne, at the 2026 BRIT Awards.
On Saturday, February 28, the 73-year-old TV personality and businesswoman appeared at this year’s music ceremony in Manchester, England, alongside her daughter Kelly to accept the Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of her deceased husband.
While taking the stage to accept the honorary accolade, Sharon revealed that Ozzy had a major dislike for long speeches.
“First of all, what a f****** good evening it’s been! Such amazing artists tonight. I mean, everyone’s a winner, everyone,” she began.
The Revenge author added, “I know that Ozzy is looking down on us all right now, and I know what he is thinking.”
“He hated to make speeches. He hated listening to speeches. He’d be saying, ‘Hey, missus, shut the f*** up!’ But I’m not going to,” she confessed.
Elsewhere in her acceptance speech, Sharon also expressed her immense love and pride for her late husband, famously known as the Prince of Darkness.
“He always wanted to do better, both personally and professionally. He never felt that words were enough to thank everybody for the life that he was given and for the life that he led,” she said.
Noting that Ozzy is no longer alive, Sharon acknowledged the remarkable legacy and body of work he left behind for generations in England and around the world, ensuring he will always be unforgettable.
Toward the end, she exclaimed, “There will never be another Ozzy f****** Osbourne!” prompting cheers from the audience.
