Rapper Bhad Bhabie isn’t letting her cancer battle dampen her spirits.
Bhabie, 22, uploaded an Instagram Story video on Saturday, February 28, where she cuddled daughter Kali Love, 22 months, in a bed while wearing respective pajama sets and colorful pimple patches.
In the footage, Bhabie and Kali pretended to growl at one another while on a FaceTime call with an unidentified friend. At one point, Kali put her hand over the camera.
“Oh, she pushed you,” Bhabie said into her device, which made her little girl laugh.
Several hours earlier, Bhabie announced that she received an update in her ongoing cancer battle.
“Bad news from my doctor yesterday,” she wrote via X on Saturday. “God has the last say so, not my cancer.”
Bhabie, whose real name is Danielle Bregoli, went public with her diagnosis in November 2024, nearly eight months after giving birth to Kali. (Bhabie shares her only child with on-off partner Le Vaughn.)
“I’m sorry my cancer medicine made me loose [sic] weight,” Bhabie wrote via her Instagram Stories at the time, referring to then-online criticism about her thin frame. “I’m slowly gaining back. So, stop running [with] the worst narratives 💕.”
While Bhabie has kept her health battle private, her mom, Barbara Bregoli, denied that her daughter’s cancer was a hoax.
“How dare you? [To say] my daughter would lie about something like that?” Barbara said in a November 2024 social media video, denying the rumors. “I’ve had [breast cancer] twice. How dare you say my daughter’s faking this?”

“Catch me outside, that’s what I always do and they never catch me,” Bhabie said, pronouncing “catch” like “cash” when she explained her seemingly wild behavior. “‘Ain’t nobody gonna catch me.”
The YouTube star added, “Cash me outside, how ‘bout dat,” which insinuated that she was looking for a physical fight.

From her viral Dr. Phil appearance, Bhabie was nicknamed the “Cash Me Outside Girl” before launching a music career.
“I’ve always loved music. When I first started, I didn’t really have the confidence and didn’t think I could actually do it,” Bhabie told Basic Magazine in October 2023. “I was working with a lot of cowriters, but now, I do most of the writing by myself. I’ve definitely evolved. I’ve always loved music and rapping, so making it a profession came naturally to me.”
She added, “I feel like a lot of my older music was kind of childish, but I was young —14 and 15 years old. I’m 18 years old now and I’m definitely going to show that I’m more mature when it comes to both my content and its delivery. … I’ve made a lot of my own music before, but it was mostly about what the label wanted. When you’re signed, they’re just thinking of hits and marketing, especially because I was so young. I didn’t have a lot of choices or a strong voice. But I’m older now. I understand the game now.”
