Last year, Rise Brands announced that the historic Bogey Inn, which closed a couple of years ago, was getting a face lift, and Central Ohio couldn’t have been more excited about it.
The company, which owns Pins Mechanical Co. and 16-Bit-Bar + Arcade, planned for an expansive “entertainment campus,” transforming the Bogey Inn property into a restaurant and bar, ice cream shop, and a 36-hole putting course. They said that it would still be called The Bogey Inn.

The company released renderings of the new concept last year to add to the excitement.
A year later, and the plans have been scrapped. Rise Brands confirmed that this golf-centric project is not moving forward due to hurdles at this particular site. Initially, this entertainment campus was planned to open in 2026 during the Memorial Tournament in June.
It’s still unclear if Rise Brands will move forward with this entertainment campus elsewhere, and what will become of the Bogey Inn property now.
